I've always been drawn to stories.

As a graphic designer for more than three decades, my work was helping organizations communicate ideas clearly and meaningfully. Painting gives me the freedom to ask different questions—ones without simple answers. It allows me to explore memory, connection, humor, resilience, and our relationship with the natural world.

Living in Colorado has deeply shaped my work. I find endless inspiration in its forests, wildlife, changing seasons, and expansive landscapes. Again and again, I return to the idea that everything is more connected than it first appears—a lesson found in an aspen grove, a flock of birds, or a winding mountain stream.

Working in acrylic and resin, I build paintings in layers, embedding maps, handwritten text, found objects, and fragments of familiar stories. Like memories themselves, these elements appear, disappear, and reveal new meaning over time.

Whether I'm creating an intimate painting for a collector or a large-scale public artwork for a community, my hope is the same: to create work that invites curiosity, sparks conversation, and helps people notice the beauty, humor, and possibility that already exist around them.
