Narrative acrylic and resin paintings
I bring a storyteller’s eye to my acrylic and resin paintings, creating images that invite viewers to pause, wonder, and discover something beneath the surface.
My work explores memory, connection, place, and the quiet moments that shape our lives. I often look for optimism in unexpected places—through humor, childhood references, or the enduring beauty of the natural world. Colorado’s landscapes and wildlife frequently find their way into my paintings, serving as both setting and metaphor.
Working in layers of acrylic and resin allows me to build depth both visually and conceptually. Found objects, fragments of maps, handwritten text, and other unexpected elements emerge and disappear within the surface, echoing the way memories and experiences reveal themselves over time.
Ultimately, my paintings celebrate a world that is complex, resilient, and deeply interconnected, offering small reminders of beauty, possibility, and the stories we all carry with us.
